The organization vs. disorientation is fantastic. At several points, my mind creates a flat design of geo shapes rather than architectural space. The piece shows me how abstract and unfamilar close-ups of the everyday can become when surface texture, color and light become the theme rather than "rectangularity." Good move to turn the corner.

Do you think it might be clearer to ID the clip as a QuickTime movie and its duration?

Some of the dissolves feel like sand/deteriorization and work very well. Others still seem too slow and disrupt the flow.

Seems like the Sorensen 3 codec should make less blocky images and dissolves,..might try some setting tweaks in the future or use MPG4?
